Our Process
Step 1 Warm up
Step 2 Feet position
We first will have the rider focus on proper feet position. This the strongest connection the rider has to the rear wheel. The most control comes from the feet position to maintain a a safe rider. We will show the rider and let them feel the right position before we send them out to do 10-15 minutes just focusing on that.
We like to start the coaching with a rider warm up. We are able to see how the rider moves on the bike. For a new rider we will start with an overview of the bike and basic controls.
Step 4 Upper body position
Step 3 Hip Position
We will then move on to the upper body. With the control the rider has from the lower body they will need to maintain a loose but sturdy upper body. The rider has the most feel through the hands. So the proper hand position with the arms and shoulders can allow the rider to relax. They will spend 10-15 minutes focusing on upper body placement to build on the aspects learned before. We will finish with some info on mental side of riding so make sure the rider can make the best decisions.
We will then move on to the hip position. We will show the rider and let them feel how they should be on the bike. This will be the most important part for the rider to indicate their actions instead of react to the bike. The inspires confidence because of the control they gain. The rider will focus on the feet and the hips for another 10-15 minutes

Full Day - 6+ Hours
We will always recommend a private one-on-one class for a first time student. This allows more tailored approach to your specific riding needs. For example if you are good at upper body position we can spend more time working on the flaws but in a group session we may need to spend more time in that area for the other riders.
A group session is recommended for a few reasons. Generally if we worked with you in the past a group training is a great refresher. You can make improvements and work on the smaller details with other riders.
1 - Cost effectiveness
2 - Being able to watch others and visually learn from more and less experienced riders.
3 - The benefit of others asking questions you didn’t know to ask or didn’t think of.
